The Council of Ministers approved the decision to declare a “Technology and Economic Development Zone” (TEDA), Tirana, of a territory with an area of 35 hectares. The project envisages an investment of more than 102 million euros for the creation in Tirana of an area where investments in the manufacturing industry such as automobiles, information technology, electronic equipment or agro-processing will be stimulated. The decision envisions the initiation of a process of expropriation in the area affected by the project with a minimum term of 35 years.
